Our Review For everyday wear white or cream hosiery is a not really the thing, but for a wedding it is almost essential. Pale hosiery is not so flattering on the legs unless you are very slim, cream is a better colour than white but of course which you end up wearing will depend on the colour of your dress. These stockings are quite simple in construction with a slight shaping at the heel and a sandal toe. The top is pretty lace around 2” deep that has a single wide silicone band to grip your leg. Sizing is spot on. The look on the leg is quite flawless and soft to the touch too. The silicone grips well and if you are used to wearing hold-ups they will not let you down. Durability is not an issue for stockings that only have to last one day but we would still recommend that you buy two pairs and gives the spares to a couple of trusted friends on the big day, because accidents do happen. You can also wear these stockings just because you like white buy the way, a wedding is not obligatory. 31 December 2008 |
