Our Review

Our test pair of these stockings came in the middle of the three sizes, designed for ladies of 5’4” to 5’8”, and in the colour black.  The size/colour combination that we would anticipate being the most common.   The nude with ivory lace top would be very nice for a bride at her wedding, a change from white or ivory hosiery that can be unflattering.

So what do you get for your £7.00? Well our first surprise was that these stockings have a shaped leg with shaping at the heel too, a real step up from the simple straight tube leg we see on many stockings.  The sheer toe is very lightly reinforced, so lightly that it really is a sandal toe, and the toe seam is well finished but not quite up to the standards of say Falke.

The lace top at just over 2” deep is not as deep as some we have seen recently, but it is nicely detailed with a single very deep silicone band on the inside and a skirt detail to cover the seam to the leg. 

We did feel that there was a slight harshness to the feel of the material but that disappears once on your leg where the finish is quite smooth, although not exactly soft. 

The colour is perfectly even and these being 10 denier stockings reasonably light too.

Fit is excellent thanks to the shaping and the Lycra, sizing is spot on.  The silicone band grips well and we never felt that it would let us down.

Our one major issue was the seaming of the lace top to the leg.  On our test pair the amount of reinforced “stocking top” left exposed was different lengths on each leg; this would not have been an issue if it had not been for the fact that on both it was long enough to be visible under the skirt of lace designed to hide it. So if you plan to be showing off your stocking tops you may want to look at another brand.

Strong, smart and sheer on your legs but a design let down a little by poor detailing/workmanship. They are sensuous though.
