Our Review We have seen so many pairs of really quite expensive stockings from Cervin that we almost did a double take when we saw the price of this style on the list, the no frills packaging soon confirmed that these are indeed stockings from Cervin’s everyday range. The packaging does not include a size chart but our test pair came in size 5 so we would guess there are at least 5 sizes to go with the choice of three colour,Black, Leon and Gazelle. It appears as though Gazelles are quite deeply tanned and lions very much more so! StockingsHQ give a bit more information on sizing suggesting: small (4'10"-5'5"), medium (5'1"-5'7"), large (5'5"-5'10"), x large (5'7"-5'11"), xx large (5'9"-6'0"). Sizing is important when buying 100% nylon stockings but these crepe stockings do have some stretch. It has to be said that these soft stockings with their reinforced heel and toe really do look and feel like they should cost a lot more than £3.75. The plain welt takes a suspender clasp perfectly, no fuss and entirely secure. The fit of the stocking on the leg is perfect and the matt finish flawless. The sizing suggested by SHQ appears spot on and we are pleased to report that Cervin has remembered that girls who need xxl stockings perhaps don’t have dainty little feet so the heel is correctly positioned. If you are a regular stockings wearer or considering trying stockings as an alternative to tights or bare legs you could do a lot worse than to start with a few pairs of these.
