Our Review We had to do a double take when we saw the price of these stockings. 100% nylon fully fashioned stockings in a choice of 6 sizes and a stunning range of 7 colours at the price of a pretty standard modern Lycra stocking... where is the catch? Our test sample came in red, the other colours being black, chocolate, turquoise, gazelle (natural), pink blush and electric blue. There is something special about the way a 100% nylon stocking feels in your hand and how it moves over your skin, with this style however those sensory delights are less pronounced than with some others. There is a slight compromise on the detailing too as the seam starts at the top of the pyramid heel rather than running from the reinforced toe, through the reinforced strip down the middle of the sandal foot and around the reinforced heel; the heel/seam meeting is a little untidy. On the plus side it is a perfect 3 thread seam. The seam stops just into the sub-welt. The welt is perfectly plain. So clearly a few corners were cut to get to the price, so how about look and feel. There is just a touch of stretch in these stockings which means that the look and feel lean a little towards a modern stocking in terms of fit, but only a little. The sizing is absolutely spot on and the simple welt is perfect for taking a suspender clasp. Get the foot set right and you can’t fail to get the seam straight first time. Colour is perfectly even and the bright colours seem to shimmer and accentuate every curve of your leg. The finish is smooth to the touch but take care crossing your legs in a quiet place, these are noisy stockings... SWISH!!! As for the catch... well their really isn’t one, certainly there a compromises but what you get for just under £10 is style worth twice the price.
