Our Review
These really are stockings at their most simple; just a straight knitted tube with a reinforced toe at one end and a plain welt at the other. The quality is good though, the toe seam is well made and the reinforced toe has a run stop to prevent holes in the toes running up the leg. The welt is formed by knitting a heavier top to the tube leg which is turned over and stitched.
Handling these stockings to inspect them you you notice how light and stretchy they are. The lightness and stretch in the hand translate into a perfect fit on the leg that looks and feels great. The Lycra means there is no bagging or sagging if you go for the right size and the 18 denier weight means you get get a light caress on your skin but with real strength. Visually all you see is the sheer satin finish rather than the stockings themselves, assuming you bought a shade to match your skin tone.
The simple welt take a suspender clip perfectly.
Stockings purists may hate us for saying this but for look and feel on the leg these stockings are about as close as we have ever experienced to the look and feel of tights.
Proof that simple can be best. Perfect for any time of day or day of the year.
