Our test pair came in off white, always a dangerous colour unless you have very slim legs, and a colour that always makes us think of weddings.
4 sizes are available to cover heights from 4’9” to 5’11”
The first thing you notice on opening the packet is the gorgeous deep lace tops to these stockings, they must be nearly 4” (10cm) deep. The sheer legs are shaped at the heel and finished with a lightly reinforced toe detail.
Stretching them over your hand in preparation for putting them on they feel incredibly smooth and soft, yet at the same time strong. The sheen on the surface catches the light beautifully.
On the leg the sensation are the same, these are hold ups that both look good and feel good. The single silicone band was a bit of a worry, but it gripped the leg well and held the stockings in place. Sizing is spot on.
Certainly perfect for a wedding, you could even suggest to the bride that she wears a pair too (remind her to have spares with the bridesmaids in case of accident), but these are such nice stockings that even in off white it would be a pity not to wear them more regularly.
