Our Review
First impressions of these stockings are very favourable. They feel delightfully soft and the sandal toe detailing and shaped heel is indicative of great care in design. Charnos make them in Italy and provide two choices of colour; black/gold and black/silver both colours have a satin finish elastic welt with two silicone bands to grip the leg.
We particularly like the black/silver colour combination, the effect is one of metallic grey. The the look on the leg is quite stunning, almost fluid seemingly shifting from plain grey or iridescent metallic as you move or the light changes.
The 10% Lycra gives a great fit and lots of stretch too, sizing is quite generous so if you are on the margin between two sizes you could safely go for the smaller.
The combination of elasticity and silicone in the stocking top ensure that they hold up perfectly and there is no feeling on constriction.
So should you buy a pair these stockings for a party? No. You should buy several pairs and wear them to work, out shopping and to parties. Charnos have managed to add a special element to this design that means it will never be out of place... that special element is class!
