Our Review We review hosiery from over 100 brands here and at TightsFashion but if you were to ask any of our team which brand they would choose to wear themselves... paying with their own money... and they would say Falke. Lunelle is the most sheer of the Falke stockings and you get a number of choices as to the detailing, hence the Article number in the title. All the stockings share the same leg but there are subtle differences in the tops. What we have here is the contrast top version. The 8.5cm deep hold up top with its peacock feather inspired detailing is not in the same colour as the legs, in the case of our test pair the legs were powder and the tops white. The 8 denier material is smooth, light and soft. The leg is entirely sheer with a sandal toe and has some shaping at the heel to help with fit. Falke use proper stockings sizing but also give guidance based on height, weight and shoe size so you can choose which of the three sizes will suit you best. Sizing is spot on and the fit is perfect. Pick a natural shade to tone with your skin and you will find that these stockings gently caress and embrace your legs as you put them on then disappear from view. These are top class “is she / isn’t she?” stockings. Touch your leg though and there is a velvet softness that is unmistakably hosiery. The star of the ensemble is the stocking top. The two silicone bands grip the leg and give confidence that your stockings will stay up but functionality is not what this design is about. Choose your outfit carefully and just when someone is trying to work out if you are wearing hosiery or whether you are just blessed with perfect skin they will get a flash of white stocking top.
