Our Review We bumped these newly arrived stockings up the queue for review as we noticed when adding the details that Falke have not simply replicated the Shelina Tights (one of our favourite summer sheers) as hold ups but they have modified the fibre mix too so as to increasing the cooling effect of wearing them. The tights are 100% nylon in the leg with just 3% Lycra in the waistband, these hold ups are 50% polyurethane. There are just 3 sizes, size III being roughly equivalent to size IV in tights so pay close attention to the size chart when ordering. 95% of the weight in these stockings is in the hold up top, it is not that the 6 cm deep lace top is heavy, it is simply that the legs weigh almost nothing at all. The toe of the stocking is entirely open with just a very narrow cuff to help to hold it in place. This detail should allow you to place the end of the material so as to hide the cuff within your shoe or under a strap if you are wearing sandals. These really are the ultimate in barely there hosiery. Choose your colour carefully and everyone will just think that you have the most perfect suntan. Aside from the lace top with its double silicone bands you will feel like you have bare legs too. The lace top hold the leg very well so you can wear with confidence. The cuff at the toe really does not grip at all, you may need to check it from time to time to make sure it hasn’t moved and started to give your secret away.
