Every fashionable woman should have a pair of fishnets and these hold ups are Gracia’s offering from their Golden Gracia collection.
Their packet notes are a rather literal translation of the original Russian, what they wanted to say is that these are classy, fine micro net hold ups that have a unique garter design at the top.
As with most fishnet stockings the construction is quite simple, a net tube with a simple seam at the toe end and a hold up top at the other. In this case the toe seam is straight and very well finished and a flat seam is used to attach the welt. The design of the welt is indeed unique, made up of four parallel solid elacticated bands spaced out by three mesh bands. The top three solid bands each have a narrow silicone band on the inside to grip the leg.
The fishnet construction and 21% Lycra mean there is tremendous stretch, so much so that even the smaller of the two sizes will fit the longest of legs. The Lycra also ensures a very good fit.
With the small mesh and fine fibre the look and feel are quite sheer and very classy.
The welt design is a little disappointing as it does not really look like the picture above once on the leg, it becomes almost solid. A small negative for what are otherwise excellent stockings.
