Our Review
We say this about every pair of Knittex stockings that we see; we really do love the fact that they size based on leg length and foot size rather than using tights sizing. A real lesson for other brands.
Detailing of these hold ups is very straight forward, straight sheer legs finished with a small reinforced toe. At the top there is a deep lace top that has two silicone bands to grip the leg... Our first worry is that the silicone does not feel very grippy. We need not have worried about the grip of these stockings, we never felt that they were about to fall down.
Sizing is accurate but despite the 15% Lycra in the fibre there is no stretch to go beyond the suggested sizing. The Lycra does give these delightfully smooth and sheer stockings very good fit and a hint of shine. Colour is perfectly even and the reinforced toe just small enough and light enough that you could just about get away with open shoes.
Suitable for wear at any time of day the lace tops ensure your hosiery won't let you down on a big date. Although the quality of work when the lace tops were sewn on is not great, alignment could be better.
