Our Review The picture on the packet raises a key question regarding stockings with a decorative lace top. Should you wear a skirt that covers them entirely? Should you wear them as in the picture for everyone to see? Or do you go for the approach of a skirt that gives tantalising glimpses ? I have to say that we favour the third way and not only because covering such a deep stocking top could be quite difficult. The legs are lightly shaped at the heel and finished with a sandal toe. The material is soft, smooth and sheer; we are pleased to see that Kunert have matched the fancy lace top with a base stocking that itself would be worth the money. The stocking top is 6” (15cm) deep and on our black pair was black with pink highlights. These are not long stockings at all, to get the bottom of the lace significantly above the knee you may need to go up a size. The lace top takes a suspender clip surprisingly well. Perfect finish on the legs a delight both to look at and to touch.. a true masterpiece from Kunert 14 June 2010 |
