Some of us can remember a time when girls wore their boyfriend’s football socks with a short skirt... and now Leg Avenue are making them specially for girls.
And very nice they are too, very well made with lots of stretch. They are sized for up to 5’8” and we would say that if you are taller or have long legs you may find that these thigh highs become over knees.
As these knee highs did quite a good impression of socks we decided to compare them with Fiore Alice Knee Socks and Fiore Nora Over Knee Socks, both of which we had ignored until now on the grounds that they were not really stockings. Of course what did we find.. the “socks” were far more stocking like!
All three styles have their merits, but both fibre mix and length make these socks in our view.
