Our Review
These stockings are bound to divide opinion. On the one hand they are seamed with a Cuban heel, the very definition of stockings for some; on the other hand they are called “thigh highs rather than stockings to be worn with suspenders which some would say means they are hardly stockings at all.
There is only one colour combination that we are aware of and that is a natural skin tone with contrasting black heel, seam and welt. The contrast detail extends to the sole and toes too.
There is no denier on the packet but we would estimate they are about 10 denier, they feel very smooth and soft. Shaped slightly in the leg and fully shaped at the heel.
Our big surprise is that these are not in fact hold ups, they have no silicone bands. So it seems that you will need a suspender belt! And boy do they look good with suspenders, the straps pull the seams perfectly straight. The sheer legs are ever so smooth and soft with perfect colour and subtle but eye catching sheen.
So no divided opinion, these are very well made and very attractive stockings that we recommend wholeheartedly.
But what fool decided to brand them as thigh highs rather than fully fashioned stockings!
