The picture above is not of these stockings, the welt is far deeper than pictured and the transition band between welt and leg much narrower. The seam is a zigzag woven up the back of the leg from just behind the toe to just under the welt transition.
When you think of seamed nylon stockings you tend to think of something smooth and glossy with little stretch, these are quite the opposite being very stretchy and matt finish.
These stockings look quite short but there is plenty of stretch in the leg so they will suit a taller wearer. The welt is not that generous though so you may have problems if you have heavy thighs. The stretch means that they need very little support from suspenders, but you will need suspenders. Be sure to get a quality belt as the welt s quite thick and needs metal clips.
The seam sat perfectly straight and looked good against the even colour of the stockings. The feel on the leg is smooth and soft.
