Our Review These stockings are made in 4 sizes, small to X-Tall and our friends at Stockings Direct stock them in 3 colours, black, natural and Londra (dark, smoky grey black). As the packet says they are designed to be worn with suspenders and as ever we tested with a Nylon Dreams belt, again from Stockings Direct. These are nicely made stockings with a “run stop” between the toe and the sheer leg and strong plain welt above the patterned band. The detailing is all about making stockings you can wear every day. As is often the case with stockings with Lycra and intended to be worn with suspenders these look very short. But the tall size was long enough for even our tallest model. X-tall may be too much unless you are very tall or wore impossibly short suspender straps. The matt finish on the leg has a nice sheen in the right light and the perfect even colour flatters the legs. Perfectly suitable for day wear both in terms of look and price these stockings won’t let you down on a big date either. Highly recommended 4 August 2008 |
