Our Review

Much as we love all the clever patterns and bright colours that are available right now it is still nice to see a pair of classic sheer stockings.

Sheer with a reinforced toe and lightly shaped heel the stand out feature of these stockings in the deep lace welt. At just over 10 cm (4”) this is one of the deepest lace tops that we have seen.

If we had any concerns about these stockings they related to the lace top, how would it take a suspender clip? and given the apparent short leg of the stockings where would it sit on the leg.  In both cases we need not have worried, the high percentage of Lycra in the yarn provided not only a great fit on the leg but a good amount of stretch too, so even if you are at the leggy end of the size range the stocking top will be at or above mid thigh.   The lace proved to be well suited to taking a suspender clip, but as ever we must recommend a good quality best with metal clips.

Our test pair as modelled by Stacey came in a shade called Ambre, there are two lighter shades Sable and off-white (as pictured on the packet), together with black. Colour density is perfectly even combining with the great fit to show off your legs to the best possible advantage.

Not the cheapest stockings you can buy but the combination of sheer beauty and sheer quality mean they deserve a place in every woman’s wardrobe.
