Our Review These are stockings that ooze class, even before you open the box.. yes box not packet, you know they are going to be good. The first thing you see in the box is the quality control card on top of the inner packet, then you spot the deep lacy band on the stocking and you just forget about packaging and want to try them on. Smooth and soft to the touch the stockings seem more sheer and light than you would expect for 20 denier. The length of the shaped legs does not look overly generous, but then you have to remember that the lace band will be covering most of your thigh. The sandal toes are beautifully finished. We need not have worried about the length, the 13% Lycra in the fibre not only gives a perfect fit but it also provides lots of stretch. Oroblu have been very clever is ensuring that the lace band is made with Lycra too, this helps to add even more length if you need and and helps the two deep silicone bands to grip and keep your stockings perfectly in place. These are perfect stockings for the evening, their only flaw is that they will ruin your reputation as you will want everyone to see the lacy tops. Luckily the tops are deep enough to let you show off without actually being indecent. Can hold ups get any better than this? Well we still have the 10 denier version to try yet! 19 September 2008 |
