Our Review
We had a little confusion with these stockings, our packet had the word “lace” in the style name and as you can see from Nora’s photo above there is no lace in evidence... then our friends at MyTights have a fibre mix on their product page that is not what we have on the packet.
So what of the stockings. Well they are quite straightforward hold-ups, an unshaped leg finished with a reinforced toe at one end and a simple elastic cuff at the other. Unusually for hold ups there is no silicone band to grip your thigh and keep them in place.
What really sets these stockings apart is the colour combinations, three colours of leg are available, blue, red and yellow and these have pink, yellow and purple cuffs respectively. Nora is modelling the blue/pink combination.
Being quite sheer the colour on the leg is muted and an excellent way of picking out a colour from your dress/skirt or shoes; the contrast top is anything but muted and simply begs to be shown off.
Made in “one size” there is plenty of stretch to cope with even the longest legs, particularly as tops like these need to be mid thigh to be seen. The the elastic top does a very good job of keeping the stockings in place. If you are more full in the thigh you may find the elastic top uncomfortable after prolonged wear.
All in all pretty good, although perhaps just a little expensive for what they are. That said there are few hold ups stockings that will get your legs the attention that these will.
