Our Review We normally try to review stockings in the order that they arrive just mixing things up a little so that we are not talking about one brand for days on end, but these we pushed to the front of the queue. The reason for this is that over on TightsFashion we have been critical of Pretty Polly recently for their high prices and then these stockings come along at rock bottom price. The suggested sizing is pretty restrictive even for one size and the styling is very simple indeed, just a tube with a reinforced toe at one end and deep hem at the top to attach a suspender. But at £2.50 we really don’t expect more than an overgrown knee high. Pretty Polly are really selling themselves short with these stockings, quite literally short. So much Lycra gives a lot of stretch and that simple top is ideal for attaching suspender clips. Couple with a good quality suspender belt with six or more metal clasps and the stocking top can sit 30” from your heel; enough for a very long leg. Very sheer with a subtle sheen these stockings give you that very fashionable “barely there” nude leg look. You should buy several pairs of these stockings for summer and put the money saved towards a top quality suspender belt from Cleopatra, Nylon Dreams, Rago, Sassy, Stockings and Romance or StockingHQ.
