Our Review The packet tells us nothing other than the denier and the fibre content, although the picture suggests a deep lace top. There is a size chart, one based on weight and height that outlines 4 sizes, we are testing size 3 which should fit up to 5’11” and 165 lbs. This type of sizing is better suited to tights as many larger ladies are blessed with slim legs, so we would prefer sizing based on leg length and shoe size. There certainly is a deep lace top, over 5” deep and very light pretty lace. The sheer legs are shaped at the heel and finished with lightly reinforced toes. The legs do look a little short but there is plenty of stretch and the deep lace top means that the very top is deceptively far up your leg even when the start of the lace is not much over your knee. Not stockings to wear with a short skirt unless you plan to show off the pretty lace tops. The lace tops are pretty but not the best thing for attaching suspenders to, you will need a good quality belt with metal clasps to get a certain fixing. We have a few reservations about the durability of the lace as a fixing point for suspenders long term. Despite being 30 denier our test pair in playa (sand) were almost entirely transparent. Stockings to flatter a shapely leg with flawless skin not a heavy stocking to hide blemishes. Such a sheer look combined with a smooth soft finish and 30 denier strength is a really clever feat of design. Buy these stocking in the Spring and you may still be wearing them as Autumn arrives.
