Our Review There is a tendency when thinking of stockings and suspenders to think of sheer stockings, but opaque microfibre stockings are available too. These 70 denier stockings from Trasparenze feel very smooth and soft in the hand. Visually they appear to have far more shine than would be expected for microfibre. Detailing is quite plain, sheer toes, some shaping at the leg and just a narrow patterned band between the leg and the welt. Length did not look over generous, but there was plenty of stretch, much longer and there would have been no tension in the suspender at all. You may want to consider going down a size if you are borderline. The look on the leg is matt with a hint of satin sheen. Very comfortable and stylish stockings, an ideal alternative to opaque tights, giving the fashionable look while keeping cool. 14 July 2008 |
