Our Review We need to start this review with a confession, this style if from the Spring/Summer collection and we entirely overlooked it when it arrived... We promise not to slip up in the same way with the new Autumn/Winter collection which looks awesome. There is not much to say about the construction, sheer leg finished with a sandal toe detail and just a little shaping at the heel. The welt is heavy plain elastic and has two silicone bands to grip your leg. The leg is decorated with a fine vine pattern and small rose like flowers. There are just two sizes 1/2 and 3/4. There is a huge amount of stretch in the legs so no matter how tall you are this style should fit you; the Lycra provides not just stretch but great fit too. The welt is not pretty but it is perhaps the most effective welt we have ever seen on a pair of hold up stockings, it sits flat and grips precisely where you put it and it stays there hour after hour giving you great confidence. The vine pattern is quite slimming on the legs and the flowers design is subtle and beautifully feminine.
