Our Review 6 denier is pretty sheer for stockings, the only ones we have seen more sheer were 5 denier and that was decades ago. £5.75 is a good price though so worth a try. There are two sizes to choose from Small/Medium and Medium/Large... the size chart is in Polish on the packet and based on foot size, inside leg length and thigh circumference. The 12% Lycra promises plenty of stretch. Wow! 5 denier is gossamer thin. Thankfully there is a reinforced toe, sole and heel to go with the backseam and the welt is deep and heavy. so there most vulnerable points are not too fragile. Well either the sizing is very much on the small side or our test pair was wrongly packaged. According to the size chart a 28cm foot and 82 cm leg should have been accommodated, We did eventually manage to get suspender strap and welt to come together but the foot was too short for the heel to sit correctly (the top of the pyramid heel would be inside your shoe if you have a long foot) and the transition between stocking leg and welt was only barely above the knee. The Lycra seems to provide fit but not stretch. If you are more petite so that these stockings will fit then they do feel smooth and soft on the leg and they manage to give a passable impression visually of a more expensive 100% nylon stocking. The seam is well defined and if you correctly position your suspender straps it will stay straight easily. Colour is perfectly even and surprisingly dense for such sheer material, a really classy look. We did have a thread fail in one stocking while testing them so we would suggest you buy two pairs and carry a spare. The sizing issues aside these are nice stockings for a night out if you of no more than average height or like your stockings very short.
